The Piper Memorial
Foundation is a privately funded assistance program
to help those in financial need. The goal of Piper
Memorial is to aid the poor of Boulder County
and acquire quality, medical and surgical services
at an affordable fee. Their motto is: “Helping
people care for their pets.” If you have a sick
or injured pet and have a low income, we may be
able to help. To find out if you qualify for this

DENTAL SPECIAL
Oral disease
is the most frequently diagnosed
health problem for pets.
An astounding 80 percent of
dogs and 70 percent of cats
show signs of oral disease by
age 3, according to the American
Veterinary Dental Society (AVDS).
Periodontal disease is a common
problem in dogs, particularly
smaller breeds.
Cats can develop painful resorptive
lesions. Studies show that about
28 percent of domestic cats
develop at least one of these
painful lesions during their

Need to get vaccines for your
pet?
Pet Menders offers a vaccine
clinic on the 1st and 3rd Saturday
of every month from noon to
2pm.
Vaccines are $20.00 each (subject
to change). Feline Leukemia
vaccine is $ 25.00. No appointment
is necessary. Pets MUST be leashed
or in a carrier. *Waiting time
can be up to 45 minutes.
These clinics are set up for
pet owners who know exactly
which vaccines their animal
needs. There is no exam performed
on the animals during this time.
The low-cost vaccine clinics
are for healthy cats and dogs
only!
